Bio-luminescent -> Organisms that make their own light.
Hydro-thermal Vents -> Underwater valconically heated water. Supports life.
Marine Snow -> Organic particals that floats downward. Food for marine life.
Trench -> Deepest part of the ocean, hadal zone, formed by tectonic plates.
Chemo-synthesis -> Using chemicals heat energy to make food. ( Tube-worms )
Estuary -> Where the river meets the sea.
Ecosystem -> A community of living organisms.
Salinity -> The saltiness in the water.
Nekton -> Organisms that can swim independently.
Plankton -> Organisms that can't swim independently.
Photosynthesis -> The process of make food from sunlight.
Vacuole -> Where plants store salt water from estuarys.
Deep Ocean -> The part of the ocean below 1,000 ft.
Marine Organisms -> Plants, animals, and bacteria that lives in the water.
Ridge -> Opposite of trenches, underwater mountains.
