Animals have characteristics that make them part of a group. Compare amphibian and reptilian, reptilians and amphibians: both are vertebrates
Contrast reptiles and amphibians. reptiles have dry skin and scales. Amphibians have moist skin
Someone has found a nest with pieces of eggshells and feathers. Infer what this animal is and how it will get from place to place. The animals must be a bird because it hatched from an egg and has feathers. Since most birds can fly. It will probably fly from place to place.
You find three animals: honeybees, fish, and a snake. Tell why you chose this animals and why. You should selected the honeybee because it and does not have a backbone and the other two animals do.
Someone tells you that frogs and fish belong to the same group of animals because they can both live in a pond. Do you agree or disagree and why? Disagree. Frogs are amphibians, not fish: Fish spend their entire lives in water, but frogs spend only part of their time in water. Adult frogs breathe with lungs, fish breathe with gills. Also, fish have scales, but frogs do not. .
