| sedintary rock | types of rock that are formed by the deposition of material at the Earth's surface and within bodies of water |
| sedimentation | tendency for particles in suspension to settle out of the fluid |
| extrusive | magma reaches the Earth's surface a volcano and cools quickly |
| intrusive | causing disruption or annoyance through being unwelcome or uninvited |
| volcanic rock | a rock formed from magma erupted from a volcano |
| magma | hot fluid or semifluid material below or within the earth's crust from which lava and other igneous rock is formed by cooling |
| rock | solid mineral material forming part of the surface of the earth and other similar planets, |
