Classification

Kingdoms

TermDefinition
Archaebacteria The kindgom of ancient bacteria that live in extreme weather.
Eubacteria The kingdom of the bacteria that most people talk about. Their three basic shapes are a stick, sphere, and spiral.
Protists The kingdom of organisms that can be animal-like, fungus-like, or plant-like. Some are beneficial and some can cause diseases. They have three types of movement, pseudopod, flagella, and contractiles vacuoles.
Fungi The kingdom of decomposers.
Plantae The knigdom that contains multicellular autotrophs.
Animalia The kingdom that contains multicellular autotrophs that can move at some point in their life.
