What are the key CERT functions? Natural, Man made and, Technological.
What kind of disasters can there be? Water, Dry Chemical, Carbon Dioxide and, Specialized fire extinguishers.
What are the different kinds of fire extinguishers? Rapid and shallow breathing, Capillary refill of greater than 2 seconds, Failure to follow simple commands, such as , "Squeeze my hand'. and changes in skin color
How many people do you have to have to put out a fire extinguishers? Fire Safety, Medical Operations, Light search and rescue and, Disaster psychology.
What are the three main methods for controlling bleeding? The victim has life-threatening (airway, bleeding, or shock) injuries that demand immediate attention to save his or her life; rapid, life-saving treating is urgent
What are the main signs of shock? To do the greatest good for the greatest number of people.
What does Immediate(I) mean? 9
What is the CERT program number 1 goal? Two
How many steps are there for the sizeup checklist? Direct Pressure, Elevation and, Pressure Points
