Legal Terms for test

QuestionAnswer
Precedent a past event or case which may serve as an example or reason for future action.
Common Law The system of law originating in England,as distinct from the civil or Roman law and the canon or ecclesiastical law.
Laws Any rules or principles of proper conduct.
democracy Government by the people, or by their elected representatives.
Civil Law The laws of a state or nation regulating ordinary private matters.
Feudal System The economic and social organisation used in Europe during the Midde Ages.
