Trial by ordeal a method of determining someones innocence or guilt.
Trial by jury Being judgeged with evidence are proven guilty or innocent.
Trespass an unlawful act causing injury to the person, property, or rights of another
negligence The Quality fact or result of being negligent
Nuisance something offensive or annoying to individuals or to the community
Defamation the act of defaming; false or unjustified injury of the good reputation of another, as by slander or libel
Compensation an act or state of compensation
plaintiff a person who brings suit in a court
Judge a public officer authorized to hear and decide cases in a court of law; a magistrate charged with the administration of justice
