Magnetism The force of attraction or repulsion of magnetic materials
Magnetic pole The ends of a magnetic object, where the magnetic force is strongest.
Magnetic field the region around a magnet where the magnetic force is exerted
Magnetic field lines lines that map out the magnetic field around a magnet
Atom The smallest particle of anelement
Element A substance made up of only one type of atom
Repel to drive or force back; to drive off
