Properties of water

| Cohesion | The property of a material to stick to itself |
| Solvent | The substance dissolving the solute |
| Solute | the substance being dissolved by the solvent. |
| Adhesion | the property of a material to stick to other things |
| Density | The distance between atoms (M/V=D) |
| Surface Tension | Thin film made of hydrogen bonds on the surface of a liquid |
| Polarity | the property of water having a negatively charged particle and positively charged particle because of the uneven sharing of electrons. |
| Hydrogen bonds | in water, oxygen bonds with hydrogen in another molecule. |
| Universal solvent | aka water because it can dissolved many different things |
