|---|---|
| Cohesion | Something sticking to itself. |
| Solvent | The substance that dissolves. |
| Solute | The substance that is getting dissolved. |
| Adhesion | A substance sticking to something else. |
| Density | How close the particles are in a substance. M/V (mass divided by the volume) |
| Surface Tension | The hydrogen bond made skin like film that allows thins like bugs to walk on the surface of the water. |
| Polarity | The unequal sharing of electrons. This is the most important property of water. This also leads to the hydrogen bonds. |
| Hydrogen Bond | The attraction of hydrogen to other particles (including itself). |
| Universal Solvent | Water is the universal solvent because it dissolves everything in it's path even more than the ACID. |
