Palpation of peripheral arterial pulses

arterypulse point
Carotid Medial aspect of SCM in the lower half of the neck
Brachial Medial to biceps tendon and lateral to medial epicondyle of the humerus
Radial Lateral to the flexor carpi radialis tendon
Ulnar Between the flexor carpi ulnaris and flexor digitorum superficialis tendons
Femoral In the upper thigh, 1/3 of the distance from the pubis to the ASIS
Popliteal In the posterior knee (popliteal space)
Posterior tibial Between the medial malleolus and Achilles tendon, above the calcaneus
Dorsalis pedis Near the center of the long axis of the foot, between the first and second metatarsal bones
