How many parts of the flower are there? 8 different parts
When does the receptacle become part of the fruit? After fertilization
What does the nectary hold? neatar
What is the function of the sepal? It protects the flower while it's still a bud
What does the style do to the stigma? It raises the stigma from the Ovary
Why is the stigma covered in a sticky substance? So that the pollen grains will stick quickly
What does the Ovary do to the ovule? Protects
What happens to the Ovary after fertilization? It becomes the fruit
What is the ovule? the "egg"
