Reacting Environment
| Term | Definition |

| Environment | Is everything that surrounds a living thing. |
| Stimulus | Is anything that causes a living thing to react. |
| Respons | Shivering and putting on sweaters are response. |
| External Stimuls | The sound of a bat is an external stimulus for a moth. |
| Internal Stimulus | Is anything within an organism that causes it to react. |
| Behavior | Many behaviors must be learned. |
| Inherited Behaviors | Is a behavior that an organism is born with and does not need to learn. |
| Instinct | A complex pattern of behavior that organism of the same type are born with called an instinct. |
| Learned Behavior | A behavior that is taught or learned from experience is a learned behavior. |
