| MASS | The amount of matter in a object |
| MATTER | Anything that has mass and takes up space |
| WEIGHT | A measure of how strongly gravity pulls on a object |
| STATE OF MATTER | One of three forms matter can take |
| MELTING POINT | The particular temperature at which substance changes state from solid to liquid |
| EVAPORATION | The slow changing of liquid to gas |
| BOILING POINT | The particular temperature at which a substance changes state from liquid to gas |
| FREEZING POINT | The particular temperature at which a substance changes state from liquid to solid |
| SUBLIMATION | The process in which matter changes state from a solid directly into a gas |
| DENSITY | A measure of how tightly matter is packed in given amount of space |
