Atmosphere

The atmosphere and its layers

TermDefinition
Troposphere The first layer of the atmosphere where all weather happens.
Stratosphere The second layer of the atmosphere where planes fly and where the ozone layer is.
Mesosphere The third layer of the atmosphere where meteors burn up in.
Ionosphere The fourth layer of the atmosphere where radio waves reflect off satellites
Thermosphere The fifth layer of the atmosphere where the atmosphere finishes
Ozone layer A layer in the stratosphere which protects us from harmful radiation.
