TermDefinition
Astronomy The branch of science that deals with celestial objects, space, and the physical universe as a whole.
Geosphere Any of the almost spherical concentric regions of matter that make up the earth and its atmosphere.
Solar Radiation Radiant energy emitted by the sun from a nuclear fusion reaction that creates electromagnetic energy.
Sunspots A spot or patch appearing from time to time on the Sun's surface.
Angular Momentum A measure of the momentum of an object around an axis.
Eccentricity A measure of how an orbit deviates from circular.
Unbound Orbit An object on an unbound orbit approaches the Sun just once and then never returns.
Magnetic Feild A region around a magnetic material or a moving electric charge within which the force of magnetism acts.
