TermDefinition
Abiotic Not derived from living organisms. Example: Sun
Cycles Sequence of events that repeat themselves. Example: Food Cycle
Gravity A force that attracts a body towards the center of Earth. Example: The force that holds gases in the sun
Oceanography A branch of science that deals with the ocean. Example: Observing a fish
Astronomy A branch of science that deals with stars, planets, space etc. Example: Observing the stars from home
Density The quantity of mass per unit volume. Example: Oil and Water
Atmosphere A series of gases surrounding the planets and Earth. Example: None
Electromagnetic An interrelation of electric currents and magnetic fields. Example: Cell phones
