Producer An animal that is able to make its own food.
Consumer An animal that depends on others for food.
Decomposer An animal that obtains its food by breaking down dead and decaying organisms.
Forb Non-grass flowering plant.
Prarie Grassland community.
Observations Information gathered from senses and measurements.
Perenial A flowering plant that comes back every year.
Diversity Variety of species.
Monoculture Growing only one type of plant.
Ecosystem Everything living and non-living in a given area.
Psychrometer An instrument used to measure relative humidity.
Moisture Meter An instrument used to measure the amount of moisture something is.
Anemometer An instrument used to measure wind speed.
Light Meter An instrument used to measure how much light there is in a given area or light intensity.
Prey An animal that is hunted.
Predator Kills and eats other animals to survive.
Scavengers Consumers that eat dead animals/leftovers.
