What is metamorphic? Denoting rock that has undergone transformation by heat, pressure, or other natural agencies.
What does aluminum originate to? Aluminum originates as an oxide called alumina.
What is copper used in? Used in building construction, electric and electronic products.
What is gold used in? Used in jewelry and arts; dentistry and medicine; in medallions and coins; in ingots as a store of value.
What are minerals? A mineral is a naturally occurring substance, re presentable by a chemical formula, that is usually solid and inorganic, and has a crystal structure.
What are rocks? To geologists, a rock is a natural substance composed of solid crystals of different minerals that have been fused together into a solid lump.
What are rocks three main kinds of rocks? Igneous, sediment, and metamorphic.
What are the three main kinds of minerals? Aluminum, copper, and gold.
