| Homeostasis | the process by which an organism's internal environment is kept stable in spite of changes in the external environment |
| Stress | the reaction of your body to potenially threatening, challenging, or disturbing events |
| Joints | the place where two bones meet. joints allow bones to move in different ways |
| What are the three kinds of joints? | immovable, movable, and partly movable |
