TermDefinition
Ecology The study of the interactions of living organisms with one another and with environment.
Abiotic Describes non-living part of the environment.
Population A group of organisms of the same species in the same geographical location.
Community All the populations of a species that live in the same place and interact with each other.
Biotic Describes living factors in the environment.
Ecosystem A community of organisms and their abiotic environment.
Biosphere The parts of earth where life exists.
