Ribosomes protein making sites
Cell Wall supports and protects the cell; found only in plant cells
Lysosome small round structures that break down large food molecules
Nucleolus call the "little nucleus"; where ribosomes are produced
Nucleus control center of the cell
Chloroplast contain chlorophyll; necessary for photosynthesis and found only in plants
Cytoplasm clear, thick, jelly-like substance
Chromosome responsible for passing traits of a cell to a new cell
Vacuole large, round, water-filled sacs in cytoplasm; for storage
Cell membrane controls movement of liquid in and out of the cell
Mitochondria provides energy for the cell
Cell Wall supports and protects the cell; found only in plant cells
Golgi Body packages and releases materials into the cell
Endoplasmic Reticulum transportation system of the cell; made up of tube-like passages
Nuclear Membrane protects the nucleus and allows material to pass in and out
