| plant cell | Eukaryotic cells that differ in several key aspects from animal cells |
| animal cell | Eukaryotic cells that have a distinct cell membrane instead of call walls |
| stem cell | an undifferentiated cell of a multi cellular organism that is capable of indefinitely more cells of the same type, |
| differentiation | the process of making or becoming differentiating the process of growth or developement |
| enzyme | A protein that acts like a biological catalyst |
| protozoan | a single celled microscopic animal of a group of phyla of the kingdom Protista |
| endoplasmic reticulum | a "plumbing system" which is critical in the creation of protein |
| lysosomes | The cell's recycling center full of digestive enzymes |
| Phospholipid bilayer | a two-layered arrangement of phosphate and lipid molecules that form a cell membrane |
