TermDefinition
Triple Balance Beam Used in metric unit for measuring mass in grams.
Beakers Used for holding and pouring liquids.
Test Tubes Used to hold small amounts of liquids.
Forceps Used when you need to pick up tiny objects that you can not hold.
Test-Tube Rack Used to organize test tube.
Goggles Used when handling things that might fly up and hit your face.
Hot Plate Used when a substance needs to be kept warmer then room temperature.
Petri dish Used to grow cultures of microorganisms.
Pipettes Used to transport a measure of volume of liquid.
Microscope Used to see very small objects.
Stereoscope Used for low magnification observation.
Thermometer Used to see what the temperature is like how cold it is outside or someone's fever.
Graduated Cylinder Used to measure volume.
Weigh Boat Used to weigh substances that will be transformed to another vessel.
