Penal Codes to Know

PC 15 An act committed or omitted in violation of a law forbidding or commanding it. And to which is annexed, upon conviction, either of the following punishments: Disq to hold & enjoy any office of honor trust or profit in this state.
PC 16 This code defines what is a Felony, Misdemeanor, or an Infraction
PC 17 This code classifies the crimes that PC 16 has designated a misdemeanor, felony, or infraction. (see pg 22)
PC 18a Defines what is a Prisoner vs Jail Wobbler
PC 19.6 Defines what the limitations of punishment are for an Infraction
PC 19.7 Determines that Infractions are to be allowed the rights as if the same as misdemeanors
PC 19.8 Determines how much the fine for an Infraction is limited to: $250
