Science The study of the world around us and how it works
Scientific Method A logical set of steps used to soive a problem
Observe Using your senses to get information out of the world
Infer Using that you have observed to explain something
Predicting Using that you already know to figure out what will happen
Hypothesis An educated guess
Manipulated Variable The part of an experiment that you change
Responding Variable What is measured/ what has changed
Controlled Experiment Experiment with all factors except one kept the same
Data Observations you made and information you collected
Conclusion A summary of what you have learned from an experiment
Variable The factor you change in an experiment
