Law of conservation of matter (mass) The law that states that mass cannot be created or dystroyed in ordinary chemical and physical changes
Reactant A substance or molecule that participates in a chemical reation
Product A substance that forms in chemical reaction
Coefficient A number written before a chemical formula which shows how many molecules of a compound are present
