| leaf | uses sunlight and air to help the plant make food. |
| stem | carries food,water,and nutrients to and from the roots and leaves. |
| seed | an undeveloped plantsealed in a protective coating. |
| root | the part of a plant that takes in water and nutrients from the ground. |
| photosynthesis | the process plants use to make food. |
