liter basic unit of volume in the metric system
milliliter a metric unit of measure that is 1/1,000 of a liter
gram basic unit of mass in the metric unit
kilogram a metric unit of measure that is equal to 1000 grams
milligram a metric unit of measure that is 1/1,000 of a gram
centigram a metric unit of measure that is 1/100 of a gram
