Global Climate Change

Climate Change a change in global or regional climate patterns
Global Warming an increase in temperature of the Earth's atmosphere caused by the greenhouse effect
Greenhouse Gases contributes to the greenhouse effect by absorbing infrared radiation, EX: carbon dioxide and chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's)
Ozone Depletion thinning of Earth's ozone layer caused by CFC's reacting chemically with the ozone, breaking the ozone apart
Acid Precipitation precipitation with a pH below 5.6 which occurs when air pollutants from burning fossil fuels react with water in the atmosphere.
