In the process of fermentation, what is broken down by decomposers? glucose
What are the effects of acid rain? acid rain dissolves and washes away important nutrients from plants in the soil, it increases the Al3+ in the soil which interferes with tree roots, lowers the PH of lakes making it more acidic and killing aquatic life that inhabit the lake
What is an ecological niche? the function of a species it has in the ecosystem
What is the Ontario green belt act? a law that protects the area around the GTA from being developed
What type of bacteria are found in the roots of certain plants? nitrogen fixing bacteria
How do plants absorb nitrates? Plants absorb nitrates from the soil after it rains
