Brainstorming Thinking of ideas as a group.
Engineer A person who applies her/his understanding of science and mathematics to creating things for the benefit of society.
Engineering Design Process A systematic, iterative, structured way to help engineers develop many possible solutions to a problem to satisfy humans needs and wants.
Iteration Doing something again, like starting over with the design process.
Criteria A means of judging. A standard, rule, or test by which something can be judged.
Constraint A limit or restriction to a design process.
Prototype A full-scale working sample used to test a design concept by making actual observations and necessary adjustments.
Research The systematic study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions.
Target Population Group of people who product is intended for.
Solution Fix a problem.
