Weathering, erosion, deposition review

| Deposition | The dropping or laying down of sediments in a new location |
| Ecoregion | An area defined by its environmental condition, such as climate, landforms, and soil characteristics |
| Permeability | The ability of water to flow through rock or sediment |
| Watershed | An area of land that is drained by a water system |
| Chemical weathering | Oxidation, carbonic acid, acid rain, lichens |
| Physical weathering | Ice wedging, plant roots, friction and impact, burrowing of animals, temperature changes |
