Circulatory

TermDefinition
Atrium the two upper chambers of the heart
Ventricle the two lower chambers of the heart
coronary circulation the flow of blood to and from the tissues of the heart.
pulmonary circulation The flow of blood through the heart and to the lungs and back to the heart.
systemic circulation is the largest of the three sections of your circulatory system.
artery Blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart.
vein Blood vessels that carry blood towards your heart.
capillary Arteries and veins are connected to this blood vessel.
