Earth 3rd planet from the sun; only planet with life as we know it; mostly liquid water
Mars 4th planet from the sun; the "red" planet due to rust on the surface; second smallest planet
Jupiter 5th planet from the sun; largest planet in our solar system; very strong gravity; Great Red Spot; the moon Europa may have liquid water
Saturn 6th planet from the sun; very thick rings
Uranus 7th planet from the sun; tilted on its side
Neptune 8th planet from the sun; once had a Great Dark Spot; visible clouds in atmosphere
Pluto Dwarf planet; has three moons
