chemical reaction process that produces chemical change, resulting in a new substance that has different properties form the original substances
reactant substance that exists before a chemical reaction
product substance that is formed as a result of a chemical reaction
chemical equation shorthand form of writing what reactants are used and what products are formed in a chemical reaction, sometimes shows weather energy is produced or formed
endothermic reaction chemical reaction in which heat energy is sabsorbed
exothermic reaction chemical reaction in which heat is released
