Extrusive rocks Extrusive rocks are formed when magma does not reach the earths surface. Also cools and hardens quickly. Small crystals form in the rock, The crystals are tiny and an example of an extrusive rock is obsidian
intrusive rocks Intrusive rocks are formed when magma does not reach the surface it cools in the earth's crust. it cools slow and has big crystals inside.
igneous rocks diorite, granite, pumice and obsidian.
