Igneous Rock formed from molten rock cooling on the Earth's surface.
Extrusive Rock Igneous Rocks that cool on the Earth's surface. cools really fast crystals/grains are small and tiny
Intrusive Rock Igneous Rock that cool below the Earth's surface. cools really slow and the crystals/grains are really big and large
Sedimentary Rock rocks formed from sediments into rocks on the earth's surface
clastic older sedimentary rocks that break down and compact togehter
organic rock that are made by the remains of dead plants, animals and shells
chemical minerals that come out of a solution and crystallize into a rock
horizontal layering different layers of old rocks on top of each other
permanant ripple marks
