simple machine vocabulary-week 1

QuestionAnswer
Technology Anything or process that people design to solve a problem.
Fulcrum A support system
Engineer A person who uses his or her knowledge of math and science to design things or processes that solve problems
Pulley A wheel with a rope that runs around it.
Lever A simple machine that is a board or bar supported by a fulcrum
Subsystem A smaller part of a larger machine or system
Simple Machine A machine that makes work easier, such as a lever or wheel and axle. It does not have any moving parts.
