Forces and Motion 1

QuestionAnswer
Force A push or pull on an object
Motion The action of moving or being moved
Unbalanced Forces An uneven set of forces that change the state of rest or the state of motion of an object
Balanced Forces 2 equal forces acting on an object in opposite directions. The 2 forces cancel each other out so movement does not change.
Energy The ability to do work or make change
Movement Changing physical location
Kinetic Energy The energy of motion.
Potential Energy Stored energy.
