boiling point | the temperature at which a substance changes from a liquid to a gas |
chemical property | the ability of a material to change its chemical makeup |
conductivity | the ability of a material to carry energy |
density | the mass per unit volume of a substance |
melting point | the temperautre at which a substance changes from a solid to a liquid |
solubility | the measure of how much of one substance can dissolve in another substance |
condensation | the change of state from a gas to a liquid as energy is removed |
deposition | the change of state from a gas to a solid |
evaporation | the change of state from a liquid to a gas; slow or gradual vaporization |
