climate The normal pattern of weather in an area over many years
El Nino Event that occurs when warm ocean currents in the Pacific Ocean change their direction
ocean currents Moving streams of water in the ocean
air mass A body of air that has about the same temperature and moisture throughout
atmosphere a mixture of gases that surrounds the planet
front the boundary between two air masses that have different properties
meosphere the third layer of Earth's atmosphere
stratosphere the second layer of Earth's atmosphere
thermosphere the fourth layer of Earth's atmosphere
troposphere the layer of the atmosphere closest to Earth
