Left Atrium Receives oxygenated blood from the lungs
Right Atrium Segment of the heart that receives deoxygenated blood
Left Ventricle Region of the heart that pumps blood to the BODY
Right Ventricle Region of the heart that pumps blood to the LUNGS
Pulmonary Vein Carries blood FROM the lungs
Aorta The main artery carrying blood to all parts of the body
Vena Cava Carries deoxygenated blood from the body to the heart
Pulmonary Artery Carries blood TO the lungs
Semilunar Valve Flaps that prevent back flow of blood
