| Stimulus | A thing or event that evokes a specific functional reaction in an organ or tissue. |

| Binary fission | Way a bacteria reproduces. And where a bacteria cell divides itself into 2 identical cells. |
| Asexual reproduction | The process which involves only 1 parent and produces offspring which are identical to the parent. |
| Sexual reproduction | The reproductive process that involves 2 parents who combine their genetic material to produce a new organism, which differs from both the parents. |
| Unicelluar | When a organism has 1 cell. Like bacteria. |
| Multiceluar | When a organism has LOTS OF CELLS!!!!!! Like humans. |
| Conjugation | The Process of in which 1 unicellular organism transfers some of its genetic material to another unicellular organism |
| Decomposers | Bacteria which eats stuff like dead stuff and make it into soil. |
| Autotroph | Organisms that make their own food like plants. |
| Prokaryote | Any of the group of organisms primarily characterized by the lack of true nucleus and other membrane-bound cell compartments. |
| Eukaryote | An organism consisting of a cell or cells in which the genetic material is DNA in the form of chromosomes contained within a distinct nucleus. Eukaryotes include all living organisms other than the eubacteria and archaebacteria. |
| Heterotroph | Organisms which can't make their own food and must get it in another way. Like Humans. |
| Cytoplasm | The region inside a Bacteria cell membrane |
| Ribosomes | Tiny-gel like things contained in Cytoplasm. Chemical factories which is where proteins are produced |
