| Heat Energy | Transfer of energy from one object to another due to a difference in temperature. |
| Chemical Energy | Comes from a chemical reaction where compounds are broen down and new compounds are formed. |
| Light Energy | A form of radiant energy that moves in waves along the electromagnetic spectrum. |
| Electrical Energy | Flow of charged particles called electrons. |
| Mechanical Energy | Energy used in the motion of objects often as gears or engines. |
| Magnetic Energy | Energy used with electricity to create an electromagnet. |
| Nuclear Energy | Energy stored as mass in atoms of certain elements. |
| Sound Energy | Energy created by vibrations. |
