| Term | Definition |

| Digestive System | The organs and glands in the body that are responsible for digestion. |
| Respiratory System | A system of organs functioning in respiration and in humans consisting especially of the nose, nasal passages, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, and lungs. |
| Skeletal System | The framework of the body, consisting of bones and other connective tissues. |
| Nervous System | The network of nerve cells and fibers that transmits nerve impulses between parts of the body. |
| Circulatory System | The system that circulates blood and lymph through the body, consisting of the heart, blood vessels, blood, lymph, and the lymphatic vessels and glands |
| Excretory System | The system that remove wastes from the body. |
| Reproductive System | The organs and glands that aid in the production of new individuals. |
| Muscular System | The System is an organ system consisting of skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscles. |
