Pollutant Substance that contaminates any part of an environment.
Acid Precipitation Precipitation with a ph below 5.6 which occurs when air pollutants from the burning of fossil fuels raect with water in the atmosphere to form acids that can pollute water,kill fish, and damage soils.
Greenhouse Effect Heat trapping feature of the atmosphere that keeps earth warm enough to support life.
Ozone Depletion Thinning of earths ozone layer caused by chlorofluorocarbons leaking into the air.
Erosion Movement of soil from one place to another.
Hazardous Waste Waste materials ,such as pesticids and leftover paints that are harmful to human health
