Volcano a mountain or hill, typically conical, having a crater or vent through which lava, rock fragments, hot vapor, and gas are being or have been erupted from the earth's crust.
Vent An opening at the surface of the Earth through which volcanic material passes
Magma hot fluid or semifluid material below or within the earth's crust from which lava and other igneous rock is formed by cooling.
Tectonic Plate Plate tectonics is a scientific theory that describes the large-scale motions of Earth's lithosphere. The model builds on the concepts of continental drift, developed during the first few decades of the 20th century
