TermDefinition
Vent the center/top of a volcano.
Lava mama that reach's Earth's surface and flows out a vent.
Crater a cup like hollow that forms the top of a volcano.
Hot Sopt a vary hot place in lava.
Cinder-cone volcano A step- side cone that forms from explosive eruptions of hot rocks, ranging from particles to boulders.
Shield volcano A wide, gently sloped cone that forms from flows of lava.
composite volcano A cone formed from explosive eruptions of hot rocks followed by a flow of lava, over and over again.
Geothermal energy Heat from bellow Earth's surface.
