Far sighted Able to see objects at a distance
Near Sighted Able to see objects up close
Focus To make an image clear
Iris Colored ring around pupil that expands and contracts to control the amount of light entering the eye
Pupil Opening in eye through which light enters
Lens (in eye) Transparent convex part in eye behind cornea that helps to focus light onto the retina
Cornea Transparent, rounded, outer surface of eye that helps focus light onto the retina
Optic disc The spot or point in eye where optic nerve connects to the retina
Retina The inner layer of the eye onto which images are projected. This image passes through optic nerve to the brain
Optic nerve The thick ? that carries information to brain
Scalera Outer coating of eye, commonly called the white of the eye
